Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America, is the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. She was a piano prodigy in her teens and was the winner of the national competition at the Chicago Music Festival at just thirteen years of age. In Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She finished high school at Fort Collins High School and was graduated in 1960. Concerning her career her move from Colorado to Los Angeles to seek better possibilities.
